-understood the rock cycle
-planned to publish his findings in one large encyclopedia
-refuted many arguments that did not go along with his findings
-went against other hypothesis of how shells got on top of a mountain and made his own based on his own observations
-concluded that shells were once-living organisms
-hypothesis of how shells got there was almost the same as the one today
I disagree with the point you made about the rock cycle. I disagree because the rock cycle had nothing to do with a picture of mona lisa.
